Christoph Michel
Group CEO & CEO of the Indian Business Unit
Christoph has served as Chief Executive Officer of HRS Process Solutions since May 2025 and CEO of HRS Process Systems India, since January 2026. A senior executive with accomplishments over 25 years in global industrial engineering businesses, Christoph brings a wealth of experience from many years in senior leadership and executive roles in private equity, family-owned and publicly listed companies such as ABB, Alstom, mg technologies, GEA, GEA Heat Exchangers (a Euro 1.5bn Heat Exchanger business, which was later divided into Kelvion, Denco/Happel/Flaekt Group, Enexio) and Siempelkamp.
John Thomas
Chief Financial Officer
John has served as Chief Financial Officer of HRS Process Solutions since September 2020. With a finance career spanning over three decades, John has extensive international experience in senior financial leadership roles in both private equity-backed and publicly listed enterprises, such as Deloitte, GE Capital, Gopher Resource, Pentair, and Syngenta.
Gavin Exon
EIL Canada President & Managing Director
Gavin serves as the President and Managing Director of the Exchanger Industries Limited “EIL” business within the HRS Process Solutions group. With over a decade at the Canadian company, Gavin has played a pivotal role in driving growth and establishing EIL as a trusted leader in heat exchanger solutions. His experience includes senior leadership roles at Global Thermoelectric and General Motors, where he led complex, high-impact projects, building an expertise in project leadership and operational excellence. Gavin’s strategic acumen and commitment to fostering talent continue to guide EIL in delivering exceptional value to its customers and stakeholders.
Ian Sheriff
HRS Heat Exchangers Managing Director
Ian serves as the Managing Director of the HRS Heat Exchanger business worldwide (outside India) within the HRS Process Solutions group. Ian has extensive experience as an accomplished senior executive and general manager in the industrial, white goods, and automotive sectors. Ian assumed his role at HRS Heat Exchangers in January 2023, following his tenure as CEO at Shanghai Liaison and various leadership positions, including VP and General Manager roles at HDT Automotive Solutions spanning Europe, NA and Asia. His wealth of experience positions him as a leader in driving our company’s success and operational excellence.
